Today Dan bought me the new Muse album, The Resistance.  I've only listened to the first four songs, but while we ate dinner we watched the making of DVD, which was suitably amusing.  And it sounds pretty good so far, and it does go to show that Matt is a bit of a genius, writing all those symphonies for the violin orchestras.  Can't wait to give ( Read more... )

Friday night we watched War, Inc - which none of us had ever heard of, but was suitably hilarious.  John Cusack was brilliant in it, and it was so sarcastic it was surprising that Americans had made it.

I've got flu.  How excellent.  It's looking pretty certain that I won't be going back to work tomorrow.  I really wish that I'd been able to get to sleep last night, because I'm shattered now.  My whole body aches, and when I move even slightly it feels like I'm being stabbed by pins.  One minute I'm boiling, the next freezing.  ARGH.
